Album – BOOTLEG GIBSON
BOOTLEG GIBSON
This compilation of recordings of Gibson live performances between 1965 to 1972 help fill in the blank left by Bob’s retreat from the music business after the release of “Where I’m Bound.” As Rick Neeley said, “Some of it’s pretty good, some of it’s pretty wild, but it’s the essence of a Gibson club date in that time.

BENEFIT CONCERT 1994
In 1994, Bob needed help from his friends as his health declined from PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare neurological disorder similar to Parkinson’s). Friends like Peter, Paul and Mary, Josh White, Jr., Roger McGuinn, Spanky McFarlane, Guy Guilbert, John Brown and Jeff Chouinard organized a benefit to help with his medical expenses. Jeff Chouinard, the sound man at the Quiet Knight and Mother Blues, and Guy Gilbert, who played bass with Bob over the years brought BOOTLEG GIBSON cassettes to help raise funds. It was an amazing outpouring of love and support that gave Bob what he needed to get through.
