LYRIC
Fare Thee Well
Like Nora’s dove,
I’d fly up the river
To the one I love,
Fare thee well, my Honey,
Oh, fare thee well.
’Member one morning,
It was drizzling rain,
All around my heart
Was an achin’ pain,
Fare thee well, my Honey,
Oh, fare thee well.
One o’ these mornings,
And it won’t be long,
You’re gonna call my name
And I’ll be gone,
Fare thee well, my Honey,
Oh, fare thee well.
But if I had wings
Like Nora’s dove,
I’d fly up the river
To the one I love,
Fare thee well, fare thee well,
Fare thee well, my Honey.
Fare thee well,
Fare thee well, my Honey.
Oh, fare thee well.
Fare thee well,
Fare thee well, my Honey.
Oh, fare thee well.
Fare thee well,
Fare thee well,
Fare thee well.
