This ad was produced for the “football” event 2016 in France.
Ah, football!.. with it its share of joy and jubilation. People who embrace in the streets, crowds of fans illuminated, collective screams of victory… To underline its partnership with the French Football Team, Volkswagen places itself on the side of those for whom this moment is going to be really painful. VW is on the side of your cars!
To understand it, look at yourself during the Euro. You, who listen to the matches by fiercely grasping your food. You, who go out to celebrate the victory of the Blues by accidentally bumping into a rearview mirror. You, who caught in the emotion of the party confuse car and bistro table. Or on a night of defeat, take your tire for a punching-ball.
Yes, it’s hard to be a car on a game night. Fortunately, when a car is as solid as a Volkswagen, one stands the test of the fans.

Have seen the Gibson name on Limeliter records from age 3, in 1960. Today I heard a tape of Bob in Huntington Beach, 1963, singing the same arrangement of the Civil War medley I heard then. I sure miss being around all that folk music. Surprised that Lou Gottlieb didn’t rearrange the songs of Bob Gibson- no need!
Glad you found the site. I miss all that folk music too! – especially live music in cozy clubs. Here’s to its return!
Yes! Love and prayers

Of Folk Music!
My first folk hero who was an approachable guy. He shared his musical arranging style with me back in 1969. I was lucky to play some bass at theQuiet Knight with him. Interesting, but we never rehearsed! We talked, got an idea of a set, and played.
